It's always so special to create wedding florals for friends and being a part of their special day. I first met Alex when we worked together in a retail store many years ago. With her bold and fun personality, she would bring happiness to anyone in a room with her!

The theme for Alex’s wedding was moody, whimsical jewel tones with mismatched vintage furniture at the reception. Moody palettes are one of our favourites at The Wild Flower to create, so I was super excited!

Alex had full faith in us to achieve this look for her and gave us free rein to create this look in the traditional "Wild Flower style". The final result was absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the Wellington harbour and The Boatshed.

To complement Alex's bridal bouquet, her bridesmaids held one singular Café au Lait Dahlia, complimented with seasonal foliage. Super simple but what a statement!

All in all, the wedding flowers included the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, buttonholes, a floral archway, table arrangements and a special bridal table arrangement.
