Ryan + Sharon
Ryan and Sharon married in Hawkes Bay at their local rugby club. As Ryan is a family member of mine, creating their wedding florals was such a pleasure.
Sharon was amazing to work alongside as she had complete faith in me. Her brief was simple: whites and greens with a wild look for her bridal bouquet and textural greenery only for her bridesmaids. As Ryan is a mechanic, he liked the idea of having little spanners attached to his buttonholes, which I was excited to make happen for him and they looked great!
An additional consideration for this wedding was transporting the flowers from Wellington to Hawkes Bay, which was typically experiencing very hot weather. Along with transporting them in air-conditioning, the flowers themselves had to be chosen carefully so that they were going to stay looking amazing throughout the day. If you are getting married in a warm climate or needing to transport flowers longer distances, this is definitely something that we take into consideration during your consultations.
Alongside the bridal bouquet, the wedding florals included bridesmaids bouquets, buttonholes for the groomsmen and fathers, corsages for the mothers, a vase for the church, simple greenery on the reception tables and a simple greenery archway.
