Caroline and Scotty married at Ohariu Farm in Wellington.

It was so special to create Caroline and Scotty's wedding day flowers, as Caroline and I have been friends for many years. I witnessed their love story from the beginning, over time creating many bouquets that Scott had gifted to Caroline from The Wild Flower, and now I had the greatest honour of creating their wedding day flowers!

As Scotty is a keen hunter, Caroline and Scotty's special day was themed around this in the countryside. Caroline had exact photos of what she was after and all the finer details, which was great. For her bridal bouquet, Caroline didn’t want "pretty" and “flowery”, instead opting for more textural greenery, Toi Toi, and Proteas. Although Proteas weren't in season, I was able to source them and make Caroline's vision come to life.

For her bridesmaids, we did smaller versions of Caroline's bridal bouquet. For the groomsmen, we did buttonholes consisting of Bunny Tails, Toi Toi and duck feathers which tied in with the hunting theme of the wedding. Cake flowers were also made to match, with a cake made by Stiletto Studio Cakes.
