Madeleine and Ankit married at the beautiful Tironui Farm in Martinborough on a beautiful summery day in February.

I first met Ankit as I was setting up the flowers on his sister's wedding day, and he soon became a regular customer at The Wild Flower, purchasing flowers for the lovely Madeleine.

When it came time to plan Madeleine and Ankit's special day, I was so happy to be on board to create their amazing florals. I grew a special friendship with the couple after many fun consultations together.

Madeleine was incredible to work alongside in creating her wedding flowers. Her vision was simple, yet quite open for me to take control and surprise her! The brief was a loose, thrown together look with white flowers and the stunning Quicksand Rose. For her bridesmaid's we used wild foliage only, which perfectly complemented her bridal bouquet.

The wedding flowers included the luxe bridal bouquet, the bridemaids bouquets, buttonholes for the parents, an archway arrangement, vase arrangements and greenery garlands for the reception tables. 

I had so much fun creating their florals and was honoured to be asked to stay after the setup and attend their special day - we were even able to snap a picture together!
